Seller Concessions

Seller Concessions are when the home seller agree to help pay some of the buyer's closing costs as part of the purchase agreement. Instead of the buyer paying all fees out of pocket, the seller credits money towards certain costs at closing.

  • FHA Loans = up to 6% in concessions
  • VA Loans = up to 4% in concessions
  • Conventional Loan = 3-9% (depending on your down payment)
  • Investment properties = 2%

Concessions can cover Closing Costs such as lender fees, title and escrow, prepaid items (homeowners insurance and property tax) and Points to lower the interest rate
